The trunk space of today’s sedans appears to me to be designed under a principle that simply says: “It’s large, it’s yours, take it from here.” That is, if you need to divide and organize its space, to carry small, fragile, soft, awkwardly shaped things in your trunk, it is your duty to find the solution for their safety. Do you have a couple of bags from the grocery? Maybe some bottles of wine? Or a small carry-on or a briefcase… Even after a short ride, you will never find your stuff where you put it when you left, unless you are creative enough to find a way to keep everything from bouncing around. Why should we look after some additional accessories or aftermarket solutions, instead of using the provided necessary hardware to organize the trunk to its maximum flexibility?
